| 5/15/04 - We will be hiring a few
contract drivers in the next few weeks. The work may range from
part-time to VERY full-time.
Some of the requirements for our drivers
are:
- Good driving record. CDL and/or trucking
or pilot experience is a plus, but not a necessity.
- Dependable vehicle with good appearance.
Maximum age TBA.
- Proof of liability insurance
- Good work references
- Reasonably clean and neat appearance
- CB radio in good working condition *
- Active cell phone
- Light bar *
- Signs and miscellaneous equipment **
These requirements may be added to or changed at
any time.
* We expect to have a couple of light bars and
radios that new drivers will be able to borrow for a reasonable length
of time until they can acquire their own.
** Signs are made here to fit each individual
vehicle. Driver must pay for materials and help with installation.
Drivers are independent contractors, NOT employees
of Big Dawg Pilot Service. We do not withhold taxes or pay
unemployment or worker's comp.
